Laura Lynch, Managing Director
Laura is an AITI Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) and a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland, having obtained a BA in Law & Accounting from the University of Limerick in 1998. Laura trained with Arthur Andersen, during which time she achieved First Place in the Irish Tax Institute Part 3 Final Exams. She left there as Tax Manager in 2002 to indulge her travel bug and spent almost two years in Australia, where she took on lots of non-tax jobs to fund her backpacking before working with KPMG, Sydney in their Property and Structured Finance Division. She returned to Ireland in 2004 and worked with SWS Group Corporate Services in Cork, moving to Galway in 2006.
In that time, she has forged strong links within the business community, building a client base across individual and corporate SMEs, professional services firms and business angel investors, with a particular interest in the MedTech sector, which is so strong in Galway.
She is also heavily involved in the Irish Tax Institute (ITI), having lectured on their behalf for several years in the Part 3 professional exams and Department of Finance diploma course. She is a regular speaker at ITI seminars, including the Annual Conference, and co-presents their annual Finance Bill nationwide tour. Laura is also a Committee member of TALC – Direct Taxes and was elected onto Council of the ITI in 2017.
How can we help you?

We are driven by the principle that the tax advisor and client should have regular, personal contact, not an annual, impersonal interaction that involves sending in paperwork and receiving a completed tax return months after the year end. We believe it is so important to maintain a regular conversation with your advisor – your family or financial circumstances may be changing, a Budget may be imminent that you should plan for, new legislation, caselaw or Revenue publications may have issued, all of which may impact you, your family and your business. It is better to know about these things before they occur so that you can structure your affairs appropriately for when they do. Finding out about them 6 months later when you arrive with your tax return folder is too late!
There are many taxes – income tax, corporation tax, CGT, CAT, VAT, RCT, stamp duty, withholding tax, PAYE/PRSI. We pride ourselves on providing you with a one stop shop tax advisory service and the ability to deal with whatever tax issues you might have. We take a holistic view of our clients – the business owner, their company and their family all have concerns that need to be taken into account to give a truly practical, appropriate, commercially driven and tailored plan to suit their individual and collective circumstances.
As one of only two Irish Tax Institute members who deliver the annual Finance Bill tours and co-author of FINAK – Finance Act Explained, Managing Director, Laura Lynch, is at the forefront when it comes to new legislative changes and its impact for clients. Her strength is in communicating complex technical issues in an easily understood way.
